Highlights

First we we’ll visit the world famous Angkor Wat temple. Angkor Wat is one the worlds top tourist attraction sites, aged over 900 old, the golden years of the Khmer civilization. The sprawling site is a unique repository of incredible craftsmanship on a staggering scale. The towers at Angkor Wat, the most famous site of all, appear otherworldly at sunset as they are flanked by hordes of flying foxes.

After a busy few hours in the morning we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant where you can either sample local delicacies or go with traditional western food.

Then you will be taken to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the Bayon complex, the Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Then on-wards to see the famous Ta Prohm temple (also known as the Tomb Raider Temple, with huge trees growing over ancient temple walls).

We will take you to watch the sunset at Phnom Bakheng, which is the perfect location to watch the sun slip to sleep over Angkor
