Take a  boat trek out to see the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, which swells to four times its normal size during the rainy season and provides a living for many communities.This is a perfect opportunity to see how a  rural fishing village work and live and go about their daily tasks. Most.live as fishermen or farmers and you will gain an insight into their way of life.  Depending on the time of year, we will either sail on through the main street of the village or walk along it in the low water level season.  It is a fantastic and peaceful place to visit anytime of the year

Optional From there we transfer into small boats and you will be rowed you through the flooded forest of Kompong Phluk. We glide onto the great lake itself and see the small floating village. Here we will have the option of enjoying lunch on the lake.

In the afternoon we move on. Situated a few kilometers out of town the Roluos group of temples are known as one of the earliest of the Khmer Capital cities, dating back to ninth century. There are 3 predominate ones. These  temples known as Hariharlaya; were dedicated to the Hindu gods Shiva and Vishnu. These are highly significant Pre-Angkorian Temples.
